About the role...

Combining exceptional customer service, event experience and online content creation, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining the hyperlocal community in a role we call, Community Manager.

Based at the Concierge desk as the face of your assigned building, you will provide face-to-face customer service to visitors and building occupants. You will work closely with the building management team, assisting tenants with bookings & reservations, local information, liaising with retailers, assisting with events and Portal store orders, all the while ensuring that the overall end user experience is outstanding.

You will be responsible for the following:

  • You will understand and love people.
  • Enjoy meeting and greeting.
  • Be responsible for making events for them.
  • Writing content, blogs, communications & event notifications.
  • Marketing our services and to your building's local community.
  • Planning and executing event calendars.
  • Managing and delivering great service.

Teamwork & Communication

    • Maintain a team culture within your building/ cluster and across the Equiem onsite teams
    • Work as part of the Equiem team to create a positive, tolerant and harmonious work environment
    • Maintain open communication and mutual respect with all team members
    • Communicate ideas which may improve the efficiency, performance or standards and be open to the consideration of new ideas
    • Represent Equiem in a professional manner at all times when dealing with outside contacts.

    • Comply with all work health, safety and environmental procedures, including reporting any existing or potential hazards and taking reasonable care for your own and others safety

Ideally we'd love you to have some marketing qualifications or experience, but you MUST be passionate about customers, creative and positive. Delivering 5 star customer service in a corporate environment is your ideal!

Who are you?

Ideally, you possess the following attributes, experience and skills:

  • Experience as a Concierge or customer service professional
  • Strong and excellent 5-star customer service skills
  • Strong knowledge of CBD dining and attractions
  • The ability to work under pressure, multi-task and meet designated timeframes
  • A qualification in Marketing, Communications or similar
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Impeccable presentation and grooming
  • A 'Can do' attitude and a high level of energy to assist other departments in ensuring customer expectations are met
  • Ability to create lasting impressions and meaningful relationships
  • Lateral thinker, problem solver
  • Respectful, professional and enthusiastic
  • Willing to be accountable for own work
  • Good computer literacy – MS Office, Internet savvy
  • Hospitality qualifications highly regarded

$55-65k negotiable salary, plus super and bonus opp.
