The roles

We are looking for a great couple to manage our beautiful Norah Head Holiday Park, managed on behalf of the Central Coast Council. This is a live-in role with responsibility for all management and business activities conducted throughout the park. Responsibilities will include:

  • Front office management (all aspects)
  • Financial management (operating, reporting, delivering and implementing budgets)
  • Management and leadership of a diverse park team including administration, housekeeping, grounds and maintenance
  • Maximising revenue opportunities
  • Management of guests accounts, forward bookings and reservations
  • Debtor management
  • General repairs and grounds maintenance
  • Night patrols and call-outs
  • Stock control
  • Lead by example ensuring efficient management practices are employed, maintaining compliance with safety, statutory and brand standards

What we're looking for

Our ideal candidates are people with the skills to manage a holiday park and the team who keep the operation running. Other essential skills include:

  • Management experience in the daily operation of an accommodation-based business, with strengths in financial and business management
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Proven and demonstrated experience in managing, developing and training staff
  • Strong computer skills, especially in the MS Office suite
  • A good understanding of yield management
  • Understanding of contemporary sales and marketing principles and practices
  • Good business networking experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of WHS and responsibilities
  • Previous experience with NewBook (reservations system) will be an advantage
  • C-class (manual) drivers licence


A competitive salary will be negotiated commensurate with skills and experience. In addition, Discovery Parks will also provide live-in accommodation and the opportunity to participate in a bonus incentive scheme.
