About the role

We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Project Manager.

The role is based Dandenong and reports to the General Manager of PM Parts, however some travel between sites will be required.

Key responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • Manage, lead and track the implementation of projects ensuring projects are implemented on time and within budget.
  • Manage all project costs – i.e. estimating, allocating and controlling the cost associated to project.
  • Ensure project millstones are being met
  • Prepare documentation for project - Risk Management Plans, Benefit Realisation Plans, Resource Plan and Status Reports
  • Facilitation of business impact assessments for all projects
  • Leading cross-functional teams

 

Who are we looking for?

  • Knowledge of the spare parts/aftermarket sector is highly desirable
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience within the automotive industry
  • Previous experience in operationally-based project management is essential
  • Able to understand workflows and business efficiencies
  • Experienced in supplier management
  • Computer literate – intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
  • Financial literacy – i.e. able to read and interpret financial statements
  • Solution oriented, able to analyse problems/situation and offer solutions that are practical
  • Quick thinker – i.e. an ability to ‘think on their feet
  • Excellent time management skills, and competent to manage completing priorities in a busy environment
  • Able to work closely with senior management
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills, able to confidently interact with senior internal stakeholders
  • A collaborative team player, able to work effectively alongside others
  • A ‘can do’ attitude
  • A ‘DRIVEN’ person
