About Us

Campbell Page is a not-for-profit organisation. That means that we care more about the people we help than the dollars we make. We have a range of services dedicated to supporting people to achieve their aspirations and overcome their challenges, and to strengthening the communities in which we serve. Through our Disability Employment Service, we commit to offering each customer a journey tailored to them and their health, and to find jobs that meet their aspirations and unlock their potential.

About the Opportunity

If you are a working age person living with a disability in Australia, there is a 47% chance you are unemployed, when it is just 17% for those without disability. You are more likely to live in poverty, to have unstable housing, to have drug and alcohol issues, and to harbor a sense of hopelessness about the future.

The role of Employment Consultant at Campbell Page offers an opportunity for you to make your contribution to improving this situation – to make a positive impact and change the lives of hundreds of people living with disabilities by finding them great, lasting jobs. This is an opportunity to use your skills and experience in the service of others. This is an opportunity to help change the way that Australians think about disability – including employers – and to increase the awareness of the massive role that those with disabilities can make in workplaces in every role, every town, every industry.

We have no set template for who we are looking for. Industry experience is absolutely not a must for us. Whether you are at the start of your career, or in the last few years before retirement, we are interested. We particularly welcome applications from those with personal experience of living with disabilities or other major life challenges.

We are looking for potential Employment Consultants with the following attributes:

  • Commitment to helping others
  • Curiosity about people
  • Solution-focused
  • Optimism, including about the life chances of the very most disadvantaged
  • Great, highly engaging communication skills
  • Organisation and ability to work autonomously
  • Adaptability
  • Resilience
  • Teamworking
  • Advocacy skills

If you have these attributes, we’ll train you to do the rest through our exceptional professional development program.

We value our staff and our customers. Our principles are important to us as well as our culture. We offer competitive salary and benefits including salary packaging and options for additional leave.

At Campbell Page, we are committed to making a positive impact on our customers and communities. If you share this commitment, we’d love to have a chat and find out how you can make a difference.
