A fantastic permanent part time opportunity has arisen for someone interested in a career in service delivery within the community care sector.  We’d love to hear from experienced people who can drive and lead the Chorus Meal Coordination team (including volunteers), ensuring high quality customer service at all times. Chorus is a not-for-profit organisation providing services in Aged Care, Disability, Mental Health and Volunteering.  Chorus deliver care and services to over 10,000 customers across metropolitan and regional WA with a 450-strong workforce and over 600 volunteers. What we believe as an organisation defines the way we work, every day.

This role provides coaching, guidance, training and support to the Chorus Meal Coordination team and is the point of escalation for staff and customers. This is a hands-on role which will also require the management of communications, management of data and help with the preparation and delivery of meals. The successful candidate would be able to demonstrate the following attributes:

  • A “can do” attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to empower staff and volunteers to deliver an excellent customer experience
  • Takes a person-centred approach to care, that promotes customer wellness and active participation in the decisions about individual needs
  • Formal or informal leadership skills, with capability to lead, support and motivate an awesome team
  • Ability to deliver on and off the job training to staff and volunteers
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to juggle competing priorities
  • Good computer and record keeping skills
  • Hospitality experience will be looked upon favorably (either within the private or Not For Profit sector)
