This is an exciting time to join our Commercial Division at Beacon Lighting Commercial! We've been in the market for over 30 years and we continue to experience growth and expansion of the business due to our unrivalled success.

With five commercial offices across the country, we specialise in project and specification work in commercial sites including apartments, hotels and aged care facilities. Our key clientele are builders, wholesalers, electricians, architects and engineers. Being exclusive distributors of GE Lamps and Fixtures in AUS/NZ and our own branded products, in an ever-expanding and exciting portfolio, ensures we can offer the best lighting solutions to our clientele.

Based at Lidcombe and reporting to the National Sales Manager, this role involves developing a strong understanding of the electrical wholesale market and the opportunities within that market, as well as providing builders support where required. Establishing and maintaining exceptional relationships with our clients along with the development and implementation of proposals, quotes and trade agreements to meet client and business needs are also key to this role.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Experience in Electrical Wholesale sales (highly regarded but not essential)
  • Established relationships with electrical wholesalers
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar field
  • A proven track record in the Lighting/Electrical industry highly regarded
  • Demonstrated success in external sales and customer development
  • Experience in securing and developing key accounts
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and nurture relationships
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present professionally both in person and in writing
  • Proven business acumen with the ability to negotiate effectively, present a case convincingly and be highly driven by sales
  • Experience in the specification market highly regarded
  • A results oriented focus with a strong drive for success
  • A positive and enthusiastic approach to your job
