We are looking for an Accounts Payable Officer to join our team. This position is responsible for the processing, payment, scanning and filing of invoices. The position will provide support to the Senior Accounts Payable Officer. We are currently reviewing our structure and this position will be reviewed after the two years with the possibility of permanent placement.

Some of the Key Responsibilities of this role include:

  • Collation and distribution of invoices.
  • Accurately code, process and prepare invoices and manual payment requests for EFT and cheque payments in a timely manner.
  • After finalisation of the year-end audit and funder’s acquittals, assist with the archiving of creditor’s records from previous year.
  • Assist with the scanning of creditors’ invoices into the accounts payable module in Technology One and the filing of these invoices on a timely basis.
  • Communicate with creditors regarding unpaid accounts as required.
  • Provide support to the Senior Accounts Payable Officer in the administration of the accounts payable function.

Selection Criteria:

  • Displays attitudes and behaviours that demonstrate Avivo’s vision and values.
  • Previous accounts payable processing experience.
  • High level of data input skill.
  • Demonstrated ability to organise and plan daily and weekly work activities.
  • Ability to think innovatively and practically.
  • Good problem solving and decision making skills.
  • Well-developed computer skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills and the ability to relate well to all people.
  • Minimum of Year 10 secondary education or equivalent.

In return, you will have access to some great benefits! A salary of $56,150 per annum plus 9.5% superannuation with the option of salary packaging up to $18,550 tax free, and accrued annual and personal leave.
