Founded in 1881, St Joseph’s is an independent Catholic boarding and day secondary school for boys, under the care of the Marist Brothers. In 2018, enrolment is approximately 1,100 boys from Years 7 to 12.

About the Role:

The  Risk and Compliance Officer will be responsible for the operational implementation and maintenance of the College’s risk management and compliance system, ensuring timely updates and enhancements.  This role will also provide operational support and backup in payroll processing.

Working within in the Business Services team, the successful candidate will be expected to work collaboratively with the College leadership and staff to promote a risk and compliance culture.

About You:

Essential requirements for this role include:

  • experience in risk management and compliance systems and software;
  • excellent organisational and project management skills;
  • sound communications skills across all levels and an ability to see big picture;
  • exceptional processing skills and attention to detail; and
  • strong personal motivation and the ability to prioritise, manage and meet competing deadlines;
  • a relevant qualification in law and/or business (preferred);  
  • experience in a comparable environment would be well regarded.
