About the Role

An excellent opportunity exists for experienced Personal Care Assistants to make an immediate impact and start with our casual bank at our Residential Aged Care Facility, Centennial Lodge. Centennial Lodge has approximately 75 beds providing a variety of high and low aged care living.    

Personal Care Assistants report to the Care Manager - Registered Nurse, and are responsible for providing a high standard of direct care to residents in the residential aged care setting, including the administration of medications as delegated, and to complete documentation as necessary.

About You

As a casual you MUST have flexible availability to fill in shifts as required. You should be highly organised and self-motivated, someone who can manage their time and be flexible with their workloads. If you have proven experience within a residential aged care setting or hospital environment providing care to the elderly, we offer a great team to work with and a supportive working environment.

Key Requirements

  • 6 months - 1 year experience is essential
  • Demonstrated reliability and passion for aged care
  • Aged Care Certificate III or IV qualification
  • Food Handling and Hygiene Certificate
  • Computer and documentation skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Manual Handling and safe lifting practices
  • Smart Phone and Home Internet are desirable

You must have a minimum of 6 months to 1 years' experience, post successful qualification, to be eligible for this position.
