The Role

The Coordinator & Regional Operational Support Officer will provide the highest level of customer service and facility activation strategies to Kauri Parade Sports Centre (KPSC) and its users. Additionally, to provide operational and service support to the site Managers, Area Manager and State Manager within Belgravia Leisure in South Australia.

This will be a dual role initially offered as a Part-time 30 hours per week.

A key focus and outcomes required are strong relationships with current users of the KPSC, increased activation of the KPSC, and development of functions and event bookings at the site.

The operational support section will assist with reporting, contractor support and guidance to Managers. And to ensure all company process, procedures and policies at an operations level are compliant with Belgravia Leisure, WH&S and other appropriate guidelines.

The successful incumbent may be required to work early mornings, late nights, weekends and/or public holidays. Interstate travel may be required from time to time to attend conferences etc

Key Accountabilities

  • Meet set budget for KPSC
  • Assist in activating space at the centres in order to generate and increase revenue
  • Increase programs and services offered at KPSC using dynamic marketing and responding to community needs and gaps
  • Close collaboration with Council staff on program opportunities and key initiatives to drive increased community outcomes at KPSC
  • To schedule the management of functions and events at KPSC by scheduling appointments and making bookings, organizing catering and staff etc
  • Responsible for all bookings, staffing, WHS, programming, and activation of KPSC
  • Assist with managing the administration processes, website updates and marketing opportunities for all sites
  • Provide operational support for the managers and assist with reviewing of I Audits, and WH&S processes and procedures as per company operational policy
  • Develop and set a training calendar for the state in conjunction with the State Manger
  • Provide operational support for the managers to the highest level of operational standards.
  • Set up a preferred supplier checklist for the state on items not covered by national agreements
  • To assist the State Manger and Area Manager to organize the work flow and follow up actions delegated by the State Manager
  • Assist with streamlined administration & reporting for the South Australian sites
  • Improve company operations controls and increase compliance with company’s policies and procedures
  • Improve the experience for all members in our facilities by providing and improving operational processes, procedures and standards to ease the administration on all Centre Managers

  • Strong teamwork, skills and ability to influence
