We currently have an opportunity available for a part-time, Finance Administrator to join the Rivergum Group. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role will be responsible for supporting the finance team in day to day operations. Preferred days of work are Monday – Wednesday, however we are happy to negotiate for the right applicant.

About the role:
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager you will be responsible for the administration and coordination of all day to day activities within Rivergum Group and associated entities including accounts payable, BAS and bank reconciliations. Where needed, you will also provide support to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Maintenance of GL, journals and the accounting policy application.
  • Weekly bank reconciliations for all relevant bank accounts.
  • Accounts Payable processing for the relevant entities.
  • Monthly intercompany loan reconciliation for all companies of the Group and administer loan repayments.
  • Reconcile the company credit cards on a monthly basis.
  • Administer the Group ASIC register.
  • Administer the Motor Vehicle fleet for changes to MV allocation, fuel cards and tolls.
  • Fortnightly commission payroll and incentive calculation assistance.
  • Administer the Group’s Display Leases as required.

About you:
The role requires a driven individual who has an eye for detail, able to use their initiative and has the willingness to learn. You will have a good understanding of general accounting principles (debit and credit) as well as a high level of oral and written communications skills. The successful candidate will be someone who enjoys working in a close-knit, collaborative and fast paced environment across multiple business systems and entities.
