Avivo is a leading not for profit organisation providing individualised and in home support to people living with frailty, disability and/or mental illness. 

The Assistant Coordinator role is responsible for providing support to meet the needs of our customers who require services and support. The Assistant Coordinator is a ‘hands on’ as well as administrative role and works in conjunction with a wider Coordination team to ensure quality administrative support by utilising resources wisely and efficiently.

This is a temporary contract position until December 2019 working from 8am to 12pm Tuesday to Friday from our Mandurah office. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a high volume of phone calls and emails
  • Receiving, directing and managing financial transactions
  • Processing and managing a high volume of rosters and time sheets
  • Maintaining accurate information and records
  • Meeting strict deadlines to meet support times
  • Working collaboratively with all team members to deliver quality support to people

 Selection Criteria:

  • Demonstrated ability to organise and plan daily and weekly administrative activities
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills and the ability to relate well to all people
  • Good problem solving and decision making skills
  • Well-developed computer literacy skills

   

In return, you will receive a hourly rate of $28.38, plus 9.5% superannuation, option of  salary packaging to reduce your non-taxable income and training within a friendly, supportive environment.
