Doltone House is rapidly expanding and we are currently seeking a Venue Sales Executive to join our dynamic Weddings and Special Events team at our new venue, Doltone House at Marconi, Bossley Park which will open in early 2020.  The role however is for an immediate start to facilitate enquiries during the exciting period of the lead up to the opening of this exciting yet new space with Doltone flare.

You will be able to demonstrate solid industry experience with a real passion for weddings and social events and have sound knowledge of the overall wedding market and current trends across Australia.

To be successful in this role, you will need to understand the importance of delivering exceptional customer service and a proven record of meeting sales targets.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Demonstrating our core values – Passion, Commitment, Integrity, Trust, Courage and Respect
  • Responding to all Wedding and Special Event sales leads via telephone, email and in person
  • Coordinating & hosting site inspections including follow up with prospective clients
  • Completing sales appointments, proposals, meet and greets and follow-up of all client interactions to ensure client satisfaction
  • Working closely with our Events team to bring together the finer details of the client’s special day
  • Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and relationship building
  • Maintenance of the business quality and service standards
  • Attendance at various trade shows including our internal Wedding Open Days and Showcase events

Experience required:

  • Minimum 3-5 years' industry experience with a real passion for weddings
  • Knowledge of the wedding market and trends within Australia
  • Proven record of meeting sales targets
  • Prior experience in Weddings or hospitality banquet operations is considered an advantage


  • Excellent communication skills, especially written and verbal
  • Ability to build rapport with clients
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent presentation
  • Proficient in using computers and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Administration and time management skills
  • Knowledge of CRM software is an advantage (but not essential)
