My client is looking for a highly experienced senior finance professional to join their growing team at their onsite operations in regional Queensland. This role will see you being given the opportunity to support business decision making processes and provide a high level of leadership throughout the business. You will be responsible for delivering assistance to the operational teams through analysis, evaluating opportunities and providing recommendations to senior leadership. This role will also appeal to highly driven, commercially orientated candidates from a range of industry backgrounds.  Further requirements for the position are: a high level of competency in MS Excel (financial modelling), excellent inter-personal, problem solving and analytical skills.

Having experience in driving cultural change and partnering with business operations to realise cost savings will be a key advantage in this role. 


About the Role

  • Responsible for management reporting
  • Coordinating operating & CAPEX budgets
  • Capital management
  • Monthly management reporting
  • Provide comprehensive compliance & governance support/advice
  • Project evaluation & review of business cases


About You

  • Minimum 7+ years experience
  • Degree in Accounting/Finance
  • CA/CPA qualified
  • High level of excel & financial modelling experience
  • Strong initiative & organisational Skills
  • Problem solving & analytical skills
  • Strong relationship & engagement skills
