AusHealth has a fantastic opportunity for a results-driven Operations Supervisor to become an integral part of a national company that supports medical research, improving the health of all.

Research grant and services are funded through our services that include:

  • Workplace drug and alcohol testing
  • Workplace drug and alcohol education and training
  • Workplace vaccinations
  • Hospital patient payment solutions

As the Operations Supervisor – Drugs and Alcohol, you will be responsible for leading and supervising a team of Collectors who undertake workplace drug and alcohol testing. In this role you will:

  • Coordinate and manage day-to-day operations for the delivery of workplace drug and alcohol testing
  • Recruit, train, supervise and assess Collectors
  • Provide leadership and guidance to strengthen team performance
  • Undertake workforce planning to ensure adequate coverage in allocated region
  • Work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to ensure exception customer service is delivered at all times
  • Undertake quality control audits and programs
  • Provide regular reporting to the Operations Manager
  • Leverage existing knowledge and skills to facilitate the achievement of quality service and continuous improvement

As the successful applicant, you will have the following skills and attributes:  

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • Previous experience in an operations management role
  • Well-developed leadership, communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to motivate others
  • Experience leading a remote and diversely located team
  • Experience in delivering training and conducting small group education presentations
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills and commercial acumen
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills

The successful applicant must hold a Statement of Attainment in Collect Specimens for Drugs and Abuse Testing (HLTPAT005) and training will be provided, if required.

This is a permanent, full time position. Remuneration will be commensurate to knowledge and experience.
